About the Con
Mission Statement
Con of the North is a completely volunteer run non-profit organization designed solely for the purpose of fostering a sense of community among gamers, promoting the hobby of gaming, and providing the gaming community with the best possible environment to present their games.
What Happens at the Con
Hundreds of free events with your admission!
A wide selection of tabletop roleplaying games.
Numerous board games, miniatures, card games, and tournaments.
Humorous and engrossing interactive/live-action role playing games.
Magnetrons
Magnetrons are the people that put the convention together. Every year we elect 3-4 members to the board for 2 year terms. A total of 7 volunteers make up the Magnetron Council and they work together to put the convention on every February. Get to know this years Magnetrons here!

We are using TableTopEvents (TTE) and all registrations and events are handled on that website.
Up to December 31st, you will receive a discount on the entire weekend rate.
Beginning January 1st there is a price increase until January 16th when all preregistration ends so we can get badges printed for packets. Friday morning of the convention registration will re-open with the onsite prices.
Venue
Con of the North moved to the DoubleTree in Bloomington in 2026. All events are located throughout the hotel’s convention space.
There will be a block of sleeping rooms reserved for staying during the convention.
